Till each Christian’s life attains the full measure of Christ, everybody is subject to making mistakes.įather, I receive grace to judge flaws, my mistakes and faults in prayer and careful analysis of my life in the name of Jesus. But learn to judge yourself before judging others when it comes to mistakes. You may have a better life than another person. To judge yourself means to watch your life closely and carefully analyse it to see which areas aren’t in God’s order so that you’ll receive grace to make such corrections.īefore you condemn others, check whether you’re not practising the same thing you’re using to accuse others.įor example, suppose a person gives you time to meet you, and he fails instead of becoming angry, ask yourself whether you’ve not done the same thing before?Īs Christians, we shouldn’t be so concentrated on finding faults that we fail to analyse our own lives in the light of God’s Word.

He was only interested in us doing it the right way. It states that anger, foolishness, and selfishness are not to be. The Bible clearly teaches that lying, stealing, covetousness, and all immorality are displeasing to God. From the beginning of time Gods Word has held up a standard of right living. He first started by saying,ĭo not judge, or you too will be judged Matthew 7:1 NIVįor in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Jesus said, 'Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment' ( John 7:24 ). In Matthew 7:1-6, Jesus teaches about judging others. And because of this, many tend to judge others rather than themselves. More often than not, it’s easy to see other people’s faults than yours.
